Chen, Sanping

Sanping Chen, a full Professor of Chemistry and Materials Science,NorthwestUniversity. He graduated from Yan’an University in 1993. He received M.S in 1998 and Ph. D. in 2006 atNorthwestUniversity. As a visiting scholar, he performed cooperative researches atUniversity of Antwerp,Belgiumin 2010 andBrigham Young University,USAin 2012. He is honored as a “Sanwu Rencai” Scholar of Shaanxi Province, 2010. His research interests focus on synthesis, structure, morphology and thermodynamics of functional coordination compounds.

Wang, Yaoyu

Prof. Wang’s group has five teachers and fifteen graduate students. The research interests of the group mainly focus on the functional coordination chemistry and materials chemistry. The group has started to explore a totally new field about molecular braid, synthesized the first case of novel [4]-crossing catenane coordination polymer, and found the catalyst of decarboxylation in the in situ reaction.
